Albany Capital Center Announces Halestorm
ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany Capital Center (ACC) is pleased to announce it will be hosting the American hard rock band, Halestorm, with special guests, In This Moment and New Years Day, on Friday, August 3, 2018. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, April 20, at www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Times Union Center box office.
The first leg of the tour kicks off later this month on April 30 at White Oak Lawn in Houston’s, with dates through May. The new dates begin July 27 at SEC Arena in Kansas City, M.
“After the announcement of our tour with In This Moment, the response was so great that we decided to do another run together,” said Lzzy Hale, frontwoman, Halestorm. “It’s going to be so much fun to tour with our good friends! See you all on the road!”

Acknowledged as one of the most vital and iconic bands in modern hard rock, Halestorm is continuing work on their hugely anticipated fourth studio album. In the meantime, the GRAMMY® Award-winning band continues to celebrate the blockbuster success of their acclaimed third album, “INTO THE WILD LIFE.” That collection made a stunning top five debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its April 2015 release while also entering Billboard’s “Top Hard Rock Albums” tally at number one, both marking Halestorm’s highest chart placement to date.
The ACC’s open floor plan allows for stage setup anywhere on the second floor multipurpose room and offers 26 foot high ceilings. A 268 point rigging grid is built into the ceiling featuring 1,000 pound capacity per point for screens, speakers and other equipment. The building boasts attached parking for 1,000 guests, enclosed loading with room for three trucks as well as bus parking with shore power availability. This is the ACC’s second full production concert to date with plans to host more in the future.
