Albany Capital Center Website Launched

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany Convention Center Authority (ACCA) is proud to announce the launch of the new website for the Albany Capital Center, www.albanycapitalcenter.com. Created by Spiral Design Studio of Cohoes, NY, the fully responsive site features important information, floor plans, photos, and destination information that are critical in sales efforts.

“With construction now underway, it’s important to have an attractive and informational website to enhance our ambitious marketing and sales efforts,” states Gavin Donohue, Chairman of the ACCA.

The website also features a time-lapse video to show progress on the construction of the building from atop the 42-story Corning Tower.

Shannon Licygiewicz, SMG Director of Sales for the Albany Capital Center, states: “This website is a powerful component of the sales process and we have already received a lot of excellent feedback from potential clients on the layout and design, which reflects well for the facility and the destination.”

“The team at Spiral Design is truly honored to be part of the launch of the Albany Capital Center website. We hope this site showcases that Albany New York is open for convention business,” states Robert Clancy, Managing Partner at Spiral Design Studio.

In addition to the launch of the website, the Albany Convention Center Authority also published a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/albanycapitalcenter.

The 84,000 sq. ft. Albany Capital Center will provide state-of-the-art convention, ballroom, and meeting space with on-site parking and direct connections to the Empire State Plaza, The Egg, and the Times Union Center via a completely renovated, convenient, and enclosed walkway with connections to the Renaissance Albany hotel at the former Dewitt Clinton site being developed by BBL Hospitality. The Albany Capital Center is scheduled to open in early 2017.
