Albany Capital Center Wins 2019 Facilities & Destinations Magazine’s Prime Site Award

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany Capital Center (ACC) staff is honored to once again be named a Prime Site by Facilities & Destinations Magazine. The Prime Site Awards are voted on by Facilities & Destinations Magazine readers made up of mostly corporate meeting planners and tradeshow managers who nominate venues based on a number of criteria. Ranging from caliber of event staff to physical aspects such as technological capabilities, venues are also judged on the size and quality of the meeting space as well as lighting, acoustics, internet access and more.

“I am so proud of the hard work put in by the teams at both the Albany Capital Center and SMG,” said Doug McClaine, general manager, Albany Capital Center. “It is such an honor for our efforts to be recognized by leaders in the industry.”

In its third year of operation, voters noted the ACC’s up-to-date features offering event space from 1,000 to 50,000-square-feet visitors with top-notch amenities including a full catering kitchen, a wide range of audio-visual and lighting equipment as well as three levels of on-site parking.

You can read about this year’s Prime Site Award winners in the summer 2019 edition of Facilities & Destinations Magazine.
