Albany Capital Center Murals: Telling Albany's Story
The Albany Capital Center murals were created to inspire and educate visitors about the history and many assets of the City of Albany and the surrounding county. Spanning some 400 years, history is filled with people, places, and stories that matter. Artist Dahl Taylor has captured the energy and beauty of the region and charted the growth of Albany from a small riverside settlement to a booming state capital.
Artist Dahl Taylor's exhibit work includes the NY State Museum, Mystic Seaport, several NY State Historic Sites. He has been commissioned to do a variety of portraits of political figures, and memorials including the National Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial and the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington D.C.
